This week Anthropic released its most powerful model yet — Mythos (Fable 5). At the same time, both Anthropic and OpenAI appear ready to cut prices significantly trying to steal users from each other.
That raises an interesting question: are we entering deeper the AI equivalent of the dot-com bubble?
For a while, it felt like building with AI was becoming more expensive as usage, context windows, and agent workflows grew. Now the biggest players seem willing to sacrifice margins to gain users and market share. And the bubble is getting bigger.
