Project Idea

The idea for this project came to me unexpectedly while I was researching how newsrooms are adopting AI. I quickly discovered a wide range of creative and diverse initiatives already underway. What started as a simple Google Spreadsheet to collect these projects soon grew, as I realized just how many different ways AI is being used in news media. That's when I decided to build this open index—to inspire media professionals with real examples of innovation and courage from their peers. Today, the project is open source, and anyone can contribute new initiatives at the intersection of news media and AI.
